Ecosystem Developer – Blockchain Data & Analytics Full Time

Token Flow was born from a simple idea – that on-chain activity is increasingly complex and interlinked, but this complex web of interactions and transactions can be decoded, classified and contextualized through robust data engineering and deep blockchain understanding.

We are a team of data engineers, blockchain and web developers, and product builders who have worked in both traditional markets and in the blockchain and DeFi ecosystem.

We bring this combined experience together to create Token Flow: the source of contextualized data and insight that participants in blockchain ecosystems need to deeply understand and navigate the maze of on-chain activities.

To do this we build commercial products such as Token Flow data via data marketplaces, APIs and dashboards, and we launch and contribute to open source blockchain and data tools such as EthTx.

About the role

This product and technically focused ecosystem role will act as an ambassador for Token Flow, working directly with our current and future customers.

You will develop and deepen relationships between Token Flow and current and potential users, learn about their data and analytics needs, understand where their pain points are, work with them to define how Token Flow free and/or paid products can help them, and provide a first layer of on-boarding and education support to this community.

You will become actively involved as a value-adding community member to DAOs, protocols and organizations in the ecosystem, and will use your understanding of the challenges and needs of the participants in the space to generate value-adding content and to provide product and technical input to our design, product and engineering teams on what Token Flow can improve in terms of potential features, products and support needs.

For specific customers and partners you will work with them  define their needs and work with engineering colleagues to onboard them to our products, and/or with design, product and engineering teams to customize or develop new features or products if they do not already exist. You will also with the operations team to ensure that the legal, finance, tax and commercial implications of new products, features and customer/partner relationships are identified and managed.

What you’ll need

• Experience in a technically focused developer relations, ecosystem development or product role;
• Strong understanding of data and analytics needs of ecosystem participants;
• Ability and willingness to become involved in key communities – being active in their discords and governance forums, and working with their community to understand their challenges;
• Good understanding of DAO governance and operations models  as well as more traditional organizational models;
• Ability to create technically focused content (tweets, threads, posts, blogs, onboarding and other materials etc) ;
• Strong product and technical skills to be able to give insight and direction to our design, product and engineering teams on the needs of this segment.

The nice to haves

• Worked in a product, developer relations, data or engineering role for a protocol or organization in the ecosystem (either DeFi, NFT/Metaverse, or infrastructure);
• Some SQL skills and the ability to create simple analytics using Token Flow data and our toolkit;
• Existing relationships with key DAOs, protocols and communities.
