Token Flow was born from a simple idea – that on-chain activity is increasingly complex and interlinked, but this complex web of interactions and transactions can be decoded, classified and contextualized through robust data engineering and deep blockchain understanding.

We are a team of data engineers, blockchain and web developers, and product builders who have worked in both traditional markets and in the blockchain and DeFi ecosystem.

We bring this combined experience together to create Token Flow: the source of contextualized data and insight that participants in blockchain ecosystems need to deeply understand and navigate the maze of on-chain activities.

To do this we build commercial products such as Token Flow datasets via data marketplaces, APIs and dashboards, and we launch and contribute to open source blockchain and data tools such as EthTx.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Blockchain Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining blockchain-based applications using TypeScript, Go, Python, Ethereumjs, EVM, nodes and execution clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of blockchain technology and its applications, along with a strong focus on TypeScript and Go development.

As a Blockchain Engineer, you will collaborate with other developers to build efficient and robust solutions. You will also be responsible for researching and evaluating new blockchain technologies and tools to stay up-to-date with the latest developments.

Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, test and maintain blockchain-based applications using TypeScript, Go, Python, Ethereumjs, EVM, nodes and different execution clients.
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure the code is well tested, highly maintainable, secure, and scalable.
• Research and evaluate new blockchain technologies and tools to stay up-to-date with the latest developments.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with blockchain applications.

What you’ll need

• 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with blockchain technology and its applications.
• Strong understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, Ethereumjs and Kafka.
• Experience with EVM, nodes and different execution clients e.g. Erigon, Geth.
• Good knowledge of Layer2 blockchains.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The nice to haves

• Computer Science studies background.
• Understanding of Solidity.
• Knowledge of Python, Rust, web3.js and ethers.js.
• Experience with Kubernetes, data streaming.
