What we offer

As a Legal Counsel at the world’s first digital asset bank you:

• work in the interdisciplinary legal team within the Legal, Compliance and RegTech unit
• cover a wide range of legal topics (including employment-, contract-, corporate-, tax-, data- and DLT law), regulatory and corporate housekeeping and related administrative activities
• work independently within the legal team
• are a trusted go-to person for all legal related matters to various internal and external stakeholders
• negotiate agreements with external providers
• lead and assist in a variety of department and bank-wide projects
• review and draft agreements, internal guidelines, and templates
• provide legal advice in structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex and structured lending agreements
• advice on legal aspects of asset management in an international environment, including the acquisition, disposition and management of assets
• conduct research, legal assessments, and draft legal memos on complex topics

What you offer

• Master’s degree in law from a Swiss university, preferably with an admission to the bar
• 3-6 years of experience in a supervised institution, law firm or a big four company, a focus on financial services/markets is an asset
• Good understanding of financial market regulations and interest to work on a broad range of legal subject matters
• Experience in the area of (structured) lending. asset management and corporate law
• Interest in the latest trends in legal, the FinTech and RegTech industry as well as cryptocurrencies and blockchain (experience is an asset)
• Independent, efficient, and systematic way of working with a proactive can-do attitude
• Courage to provide clear guidance and practicable solutions based on own assessments
• Good legal drafting skills in German and English
• A positive, forward-thinking personality with a high degree of integrity, business acumen, openness to feedback and ability to work under pressure
• Fluency in English and German, every additional language is an asset
