About the role 

As a Senior Research Analyst you will join a team of 5 who research and conceptualize token (staking) economics of the leading Proof-of-Stake protocols. We dive deep into inflation schedules, protocol revenues, and the validator landscape in order to model historical and expected staking returns of assets, as well as respective staking providers.

You will help us develop entirely new financial metrics & models and be a driving force in sharing our opinions on the market and all things staking related.

Building on our success as a data provider, we want to use that data to create more value for our users, and you will bring an Investment Mindset to the company to share not just financial evaluations of assets with our users, but also add your own opinions about the wider markets.

Using our proprietary data set compiled from blockchains and Web3 APIs, you will work together with the rest of the research team to pick up hot topics in the market and provide our content creators with the required input and data to compile cutting edge articles.

This role is very fast paced, so you will have to rely on your strong network for getting real alpha and transform that into meaningful analysis. The environment is highly dynamic, which is an opportunity for you to truly move the needle. We expect a high standard of execution.

Ultimately you will be the major driving force behind the publicly facing voice of the Staking Rewards Research Team.

About you

You have 5 years + professional experience in a financial research-related role; ideally with a focus on Investments. You have strong mathematical skills in order to model complex staking economics.

You have an in-depth understanding of the DeFi/Staking world, and are optimally experienced in blockchain data aggregation & analysis. Experience with general Data Science Concepts and development of blockchain data bots are a big plus.

Our ideal candidate will already have a strong network they can rely on for getting the most up to date topics and information.

You are an operative doer and are eager to jump in to kick things off. Get your hands dirty.
