Product Compliance Manager Full Time (Remote)

The Paxos Compliance team is looking for a Product Compliance Manager to partner with our product teams  to scale our Brokerage products with Compliance and regulations in mind. This role is also responsible for helping to scale our internal Compliance and Risk platform systems as we strive to build a “best-in-class” Compliance program.

As a Product Compliance Manager, you will: 

• Work directly with Paxos’ Brokerage product team as the subject matter expert to ensure product and backend system controls are properly translated and built in accordance with Paxos’ Compliance and Regulatory program obligations (KYC / CIP, Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering controls and regulations)
• Translate Compliance and Regulatory requirements and standards into the technical and programmatic build out of our products and internal platform
• Leverage your industry and compliance knowledge to scale our Compliance program and product offerings to meet both customer needs, growth goals, and our regulatory obligations
• Work closely with the Compliance leadership team to develop strategies and metrics around expanding our Compliance program (policies, processes, systems) in support of new product growth, customer verticals, and international expansion initiatives
• Work with existing and prospective third party technology vendors to build solutions to scale our backend compliance systems
• Immerse yourself in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency for enterprises and investors, our regulation-first approach, and more!

Your experience should include:

• 3+ years of working in a Compliance and / or Risk Management function (Project Manager, Product Compliance, Technical Program Manager)  in a product / technology driven organization
• Deep subject matter expertise as related KYC / CIP, Anti-Money Laundering, and / or Sanctions (OFAC), regulations
• Experience with developing and managing backend compliance and / or risk systems and a clear understanding of operational benefits / tradeoffs of automated systems
• Prior working experience with technical teams such as Product Management, Engineering, and / or Data Analytics teams
• Proven track record of driving Compliance and / or Risk driven projects in a cross-functional setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Data-driven mindset to inform decision making and prioritization

You might also have: 

• Experience working in the crypto industry from a Compliance, Regulatory, and / or Risk Management perspective
• A clear understanding of the trends within the crypto / blockchain industry and regulatory landscape
