About the Team:

Okcoin’s Trading Ops team provides the core backbone to the exchange’s daily operations centered around our markets and institutional trading products. The team helps manage the orderbook and OTC markets on the exchange and so that they are operating robustly and efficiently. The team is also responsible for the reporting and supplemental coverage of the institutional side of the business including the solutioning of new web applications, dashboards, and reports to help support the Sales and Business Development teams

What You’ll be Doing:

The successful candidate will think big about the future of crypto and Okcoin’s role in the current and future ecosystem. You will be interacting directly with institutional clients on the platform and ensure that their needs are met from a liquidity, trading and reporting perspective. You will possess the ability and willingness to balance customer needs with business priorities and effectively communicate issues to internal teams. You will also be comfortable working with cross-functional teams within the company to complete projects.

At your core, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, process-driven environment and be able to adapt and adjust plans on-the-fly. You must also have strong prioritization skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done. Most importantly, you’ll drive results and significantly grow the adoption of Okcoin products and features.

• Generate ad hoc client/market data reports and perform data analysis to identify trends and insights from client or market data. These reports are presented to BD/Sales and senior management
• Monitor the daily trading and settlement activity of clients on the institutional trading desk; perform necessary client outreach related to settlement and trading activity
• Assist clients with operational issues including onboarding, deposit/withdrawal reconciliation, credit line requests, fee adjustments, and technical integration questions.
• Setup new clients for the OTC desk and other institutional trading products and enable margin monitoring for institutional clients.
• Build new and improve existing dashboards for monitoring of client trading, settlement, and PnL activity
• Monitor overall platform liquidity and identify any gaps / issues in our systems
• Assist with company trade outs of risk positions on behalf of customers

What We Look For in You:

• 1-4 years experience working as financial data analyst, operations role or something similar
• Familiarity with trading systems or knowledge of the lifecycle of a cryptocurrency or securities trading
• Familiarity with SQL and/or Python
• Familiarity with API connectivity
• Familiarity with an analytical/dashboarding tool or software (Grafana, Amplitude, Tableau etc.)
• Familiarity with cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technology
