Front End Engineer Full Time (Remote)

Who are we? 

HyperMint was founded by three senior staff at MoonPay: Semyon Germanovich (Product + Engineering), Frederick Becker (Sales + Ecosystems) and Adrian Pang (Strategy + Special Projects).

HyperMint is backed by MoonPay, a multi-billion dollar crypto powerhouse who is trusted by 300+ leading wallets, websites, and applications (including some of the biggest crypto brands in the world Bitcoin.com, Dapper Labs, OpenSea, Ledger, Argent & Trust Wallet). This means we have access to the best creators, brands and enterprises in the space as well as significant funding.

The Opportunity 

We’re still incredibly early days in the web 3 space. We have about 300 million users in the crypto space. In the next 5 years, every brand on the above diagram is going to participate. We need to build robust, flexible and scalable tooling to enable these brands to enter web 3.

What You’ll Do

• Join as a front end engineer in our platform team.
• This team owns everything to do with customer experience: our developer APIs, dashboard and SDK.
• Own features end-to-end with a focus on user experience and interface, whilst having the opportunity to see all areas of our product: smart contracts, crypto wallets, APIs (REST and GraphQL) and infrastructure.
• Contribute to technical direction, architecture and tooling whilst influencing our technical and product roadmaps.
• Participate and shape an excellent engineering culture.
• Opportunity to be exposed to tier 1 clients in solutions and discovery calls.

Who are we looking for?

• You’re business minded and can understand and formulate complex business needs into technical requirements.
• You have at least two years commercial experience with React.js, CSS and HTML.
• You have commercial experience building server-side rendered applications (ideallyusing NextJS).
• You’re weighted towards the front end side of things.
• You have an eye for design and user experience and have good working experience with product designers.
• You’ve worked on products that have impacted millions of people.
• You’ve been in a zero-to-one environment or are prepared to dive in to one.
• You take pride in shipping high impact product and settle for nothing less.
• You champion a culture of engineering excellence. Bonus points for crypto experience.

• ReactJS (including SSR using NextJS)
• GraphQL / Apollo Client
• TypeScript
• REST API (for our server)
