Blockchain Developer Full Time (Remote)

Makrverse, the social media marketplace for inventors and tech enthusiasts is looking for talented, motivated, and innovative blockchain engineers specialized in Ethereum (Solidity). You will be working in an internal tech development team with the Head of Blockchain Engineering, presenting architecture solutions, proof of concepts, and designs according to our roadmap.

In addition, since we aim to become blockchain agnostic, you will be dealing with other blockchains, new technologies, and liaising with their teams when working to integrate Makrverse with them.

The Responsibilities

Here’s what a normal week at Makrverse could look like:

• Check your tasks on Zenhub / Github to plan your own workday and share with your team on Slack (Daily Standup);
• Align and work directly with the Head of Blockchain Engineering;
• Attend collaborative discussions/meetings with your team;
• Create Smart Contracts and blockchain integrations.
• Brainstorm and help evaluate applications for new tools and technologies;
• Document new solutions as well as maintain existing ones;
• Support or conduct the implementation of various tooling aiming to improve the usability of our technology

Important Requirements:

• 3 + years of software engineering experience developing highly reliable, scalable products and services.
• Have a degree in computer science (or related course or professional experience).
• Proven track record of building blockchain applications and smart contracts.
• Big plus, having experience building DeFi applications.
• 2 + years of development in the blockchain space using Ethereum (solidity).
• Strong experience with at least one modern coding language and with Solidity.
• Strong experience with Node.Js and Javascript.
• Strong experience building Smart Contracts and standard libraries and tools (eg. Truffle Framework, OpenZeppelin, Web3.js, Infura, etc.)
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Self-motivated to work in a 100% remote office environment.
• Able to work with minimal supervision organizing your day as it better fits you.
