About the Role

The Localization Program Manager will drive the successful launch of Kraken products internationally. In this role, you will work cross functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Engagement, Business Strategy and Marketing teams. You will be a driver behind building, maintaining, and executing cross-functional initiatives to grow Kraken availability in new countries. The ideal candidate has experience in localization and is a great cross-functional relationship builder, excellent goal and timeline focused executer able to drive a large group on shared outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Proactively partner with Kraken teams and functions to deliver products, customer support and marketing campaigns that are culturally-relevant and linguistically-appropriate.
• Establish scalable processes to deliver high quality, cost-effective and time efficient localized products.
• Facilitate strategic discussions at all levels including preparing material, establishing action items and identifying owners.
• Own the creation and management of high level Localization project & program timelines.
• Drive alignment and provide up-to-date visibility into large projects, and progress against agreed goals.

Requirements

• Interest in Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency and Blockchain
• 5+ years experience working as a program manager or similar cross-functional role in a technology company
• 3+ years in Localization Operations, Localization Program Management, International Program/Project Management, or equivalent roles, helping product, customer support and marketing teams to successfully launch internationally.
• Track record of managing and releasing complex and high-quality localized products
• Experience in establishing processes, supporting teams, developing relationships, and managing end-to-end for a portfolio of concurrent programs.
• Tenacious, self starter who thrives in understanding the details of complex, cross-functional projects and can effectively distill into actionable project plans
• Superb organizational skills and an analytical view on maximizing productivity, with a focus on value and not getting caught up on process
• Ability to simplify operational and informational complexity, delivering the right message to each stakeholder
