As a Media Producer, you will work at the intersection of creativity and project management for external communication measures and campaigns, addressing developers and businesses using DLT/blockchain technology.
You will be the leading force in the development of such measures, proactively gathering information e.g. about an upcoming software release, interpret it and develop ideas how to translate it into something that captures the interests of the target audience.
Being the directly responsible individual, it will be your task to prepare the information your fellow team members in the communications department require to produce the material and assets you define. You will propose scope, idea, concept and assets for campaigns, microsites and services, proactively involve members from your own and other departments, oversee the production of items, in time, scope and budget.
As you are the individual carrying the most knowledge for the task at hand, you will be required to proactively share your knowledge with other team members to provide them with everything they need to fulfill their roles. While your role involves a lot of planning, over- and foresight, you will not only hand over information to others and instruct them what to do: as you are the person carrying the most knowledge about the topic at hand, it will also be your task to prepare material, copy text and messaging for assets, websites and other material and items yourself.
In your role, you will mostly develop communication ideas and campaigns for the application of blockchain technology, mostly geared towards developers and engineers, but also towards end users for example in the realm of DeFi. In order to be able to fulfill your role, you will require a solid understanding of IT in general and at least a general understanding of blockchain and distributed ledger technology.

Serve as a Media Producer including but not limited to ideation and definition of communication campaigns and their messaging, concepts for campaign microsites, manage the sourcing and integration of third party services, production of media assets in alignment with heads of design and communications, as well as colleagues from other departments:

About the project
The communications department of the IOTA Foundation consists of more than a dozen individuals spread working remotely all from all over Europe, collectively developing all externally facing communication measures and assets for the IOTA Foundation and connected entities, also including internal communications measures and also supporting partners and collaborating entities in addressing different audience segments, ranging from engineers, businesses, government entities and end users. Disciplines in the department include social media management, user interface design, motion design, copy writing/editing,with adjacent growth and marketing managers working, all working on a broad variety of communication measures from owned, earned and paid media.
