Developer Experience Advocate Full Time

Job Intro

As a Developer experience advocate within the developer experience team, your job is to translate complex technical concepts into easily digestible content for developers and non-technical users and help development teams plan and structure their documentation content. Furthermore, by acquiring deep technical knowledge about our protocol and thus becoming an expert in our technology, you will act as a knowledge hub for internal and external users and assist whenever there are open questions within our communication channels.

Requirements And Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality technical and non-technical documentation for our products.
• Help out development teams in planning and enhancing their documentation.
• Continuously acquire knowledge about our protocol and products to help out internal and external users.
• Be part of QA phases within our products by developing PoC applications and testing out development team-provided code examples.
• Maintain our wiki portal by enhancing and restructuring the content.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience working with a TypeScript
• Professional English skills (C1 level)
• Experience with blockchains/DLTs
• Experience with the “docs as code” approach using Git.

Nice to have:

• Experience using markdown
• Be familiar with IOTA (or Shimmer)

About The Project

The developer experience team within the foundation sees its main mission to foster our libraries and provide the best documentation available in the DLT space. In this multidisciplinary group, members help out development teams within the foundation in designing and testing their software and writing and enhancing the documentation of our products.
