Head of Product (C-level) Full Time (Remote)

For our client, a global leader in the development of decentralized / Web3-focused identity solutions, we are looking for a Head of Product. The successful candidate will own the company’s entire product function and form part of the leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Shape and own the product vision, strategy and respective implementation roadmaps
• Own product development – specify and manage the product implementation in close collaboration with the engineering team
• Gather feedback on existing products / solutions from users, customers and other market stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date regarding latest trends and technological developments in the DID space
• Perform industry / competitive research in order to identify new needed features / applications
• Interact on a regular basis with the broader Web3 / blockchain community and help to push product adoption

Must-haves:

• Several years of work experience as a CPO or senior product manager/product owner (alternatively; CEO, CTO, Head of Engineering) from an IT (ideally Web3 / blockchain) context
• Strong track record in managing cutting-edge digital products/solutions – ideally with a focus on products that target developers
• Passion for DID / privacy-preserving identity tech.
• Advanced understanding of blockchain technology and a good overview of the Web3 space
• Previous experience from leading / building teams
• Very good communication skills in English (both oral & written communication)

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledgeable about DID
• Previous work experience from the Web3 space
• Previous experience from working in a fast-growing technology startup/scale-up
• Basic programming experience
