Glassnode is a leading market intelligence platform for on-chain and derivatives data. We offer the most comprehensive library of advanced on-chain metrics and insights for Bitcoin, Ethereum and hundreds of other digital assets, bringing data intelligence to the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
With an emphasis on user-centric interfaces, we aim to deliver intelligible, actionable, and unique insights from blockchain data and beyond, helping investors make educated decisions in an overly emotional and irrational market, and equipping blockchain teams with valuable insights on their projects and tokens.
We are searching for a driven and proactive on-chain analyst who specializes in Ethereum, DeFi, and associated ecosystems, and is ready to contribute to taking our product and content suite to the next level. You would be expected to contribute to building our brand awareness, data exploration, thought leadership, and improving user experience via the production of research, analysis, and explainers via written, and ideally video formats.
Join us remotely (CET) and embark on a challenging journey shaping our innovative products in the revolutionary sphere of digital currencies. You’ll have a chance to develop professionally and personally, work on unique and challenging problems, engaging in blockchain data, distributed systems and high scalability.
The role will include:
- Building our brand awareness and reputation through research, analysis, content production (written and video), and social media management.
- Strategising and delivering a work pipeline for research, innovation, and metric construction to build out our suite of Ethereum, DeFi, and associated ecosystem tooling.
- Working alongside our data science team to characterize network user behaviour, smart-contract utilization, and changing market trends.
- Produce simplified explanations related to on-chain, and crypto-financial concepts and metrics, targeted at beginner through advanced-level users.
- Compose descriptions, explanations, and user guides for on-chain and crypto-financial metrics to aid platform users in navigation, education, and application.
- Produce educational video content relating to the usage of tools, metric applications, and underlying concepts.
- Produce written analysis and research at a regular cadence to showcase glassnode tools, on-chain analysis techniques and thought leadership.
- General management of internal systems, project management, and delivery of assigned tasks.
We would like to hear from you, if:
- You have a strong interest in Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi and other digital currencies.
- You are a self-learner, highly motivated to pick up new technologies and take on challenging problems, and are receptive to feedback.
- You have prior experience analyzing markets, and on-chain data, and have a sound appreciation of the mechanics of blockchains.
- You are familiar with Ethereum and DeFi protocols, and user network behaviour such that you can identify and characterize smart contract usage, and behavioural trends.
- You are motivated by the educational progress and success of others who are learning within the field of on-chain analytics.
- You are capable of distilling complex concepts into more easily understandable formats via written content.
- You have very good English communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
Bonus: You have data science experience (SQL, python, modelling, statistics etc)
Bonus: You have a catalogue of analysis, research or other relevant experience that showcases your work.
