Investor Relations & Fundraising – Venture Capital Full Time (Hybrid)

Zug, Switzerland-based CV VC is looking for a motivated and dedicated Venture Capital Investor Relations & Fundraising person to join its investment team.

Location: Zug, Switzerland or remote (Europe) with preference for international CV Labs Locations (i.e. Berlin) or Financial Hubs (i.e. London)

Tasks

We are looking for a Venture Capital Sales & Investor Relations professional (mid-senior or senior level). Candidates have several years of professional experience in relevant areas and should be familiar with (early-stage) Venture Capital and the startup environment as well as with investors (LPs) investing in the space. Candidates should be interested in working independently in an entrepreneurial and startup environment. Candidates will be part of the investment team and will be both driving their initiatives and efforts to find new investors (sourcing to closing) for our upcoming funds as well as working closely with the other members of the team for the execution of their current fundraising efforts.

VC Investor Relations & Fundraising tasks include the following:

• Build and establish relationships with (institutional) investors, private investors, Family Offices and Multi-family offices
• Onboard new investors (sourcing to closing) to the venture capital funds
• Maintain relationships and provide updates to existing investors and future investors in the funds
• Work on investor marketing materials, reporting material, and fundraising efforts (incl. fundraising documentation)
• Update the Data Rooms for the venture capital funds
• Work together with the investment team to stay updated on the current and future investments of the venture capital funds
• Work directly with the Executive Team on general (fundraising) matters on a corporate level and develop the investor relations strategy and related projects
• Implement marketing strategies to support the fundraising efforts and develop capabilities together with the marketing team to boost fundraising initiatives
• Represent the company at networking events in the blockchain technology / alternative investments/venture capital ecosystem

Requirements

• Relevant university degree
• Several years of work experience in investor relations in the venture capital space or adjacent fields and expertise (incl. relevant experience in financial institutions, family offices, HNWI, ideally in combination with start-up environments)
• Successful track record in fundraising / sales and investor relations or similar fields, preferrably in PE / VC
• Highly motivated team player yet independent with international mindset and outstanding interpersonal skillsces in the DACH region
• Advanced MS Office skills (esp. Excel and PowerPoint) / Google Suite
• Strong knowledge of venture capital funds (mechanics and economics)
• Solid knowledge of banking, capital markets and finance
• Interest in technology and startups (and ideally blockchain technology)
• Highly motivated team player yet independent with international mindset and outstanding interpersonal skills in the DACH region
