As part of the General Counsel Legal Team of Crypto Finance AG, you will report to the Group General Counsel, and have the opportunity to gain experience in various aspects of legal and regulatory matters in a highly innovative and dynamic environment. You will also obtain deep know-how of crypto-related legal and regulatory requirements, making this a great opportunity to enhance your legal expertise in the increasingly growing digital assets industry, and build the foundation for your further career.

The starting date is as soon as possible in our new office in the Prime Tower in Zurich.

Key responsibilities

• Take on the role as Senior Legal Counsel for the Crypto Finance Group
• Take full responsibility of leading strategic, group-wide business initiatives and projects in the General Counsel Office, in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Advise on new business initiatives and product offerings from a legal and regulatory perspective in a fast-paced international environment
• Support the Group General Counsel in current legal and regulatory matters related to the Group
• Manage communication with and requests by regulatory agencies (FINMA, BaFin)
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents such as contracts, statements, agreements, policies, etc. and manage outside counsel
• Perform various periodic and ad hoc Company Secretary/Corporate Housekeeping tasks for the Group
• Work proactively to develop and/or improve systems, processes, controls, and procedures to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Group
• Support new business concepts, and ensure that complex products and innovative business ideas have a solid legal framework
• Monitor relevant legal and regulatory development

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as Legal Counsel; regulatory and project management experience are highly desired
• A Master’s degree in Law or “Lizenziat” in Law from a Swiss University; admittance to the bar and additional relevant education is an asset
• Knowledge of Web 3.0 and DLT is a strong asset
• Experience in an international and fast evolving environment
• Proven track record of a structured approach, and rapid execution at the highest standards
• A dynamic person with a positive attitude and strong motivational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and hands-on, with an attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
