ABOUT THE POSITION

As our new Software Engineer, you will be part of the IT and Software Development Team in Vienna, Austria. The position is critical to supporting our mission of breaking new ground in digital payments. Here are some of the tasks and challenges you will tackle:

• Realize frontend (web) and backend solutions based on .net Core & Azure
• Plan and specify frontend and backend solutions
• Integrate existing solutions and components
• Evaluate/Research in the area of blockchain and related technologies (DLT)
• Concept and (further) develop DLT solutions
• Plan and implement security concepts
• Analyse and integrate new technologies and architectures

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an ambitious and curious person who has experience in software development and wants to join our motivated and all-round awesome team to help us shape the future of money. Here’s what we expect from you:

• Several years of relevant experience in IT and software development
• Be proficient in C#, .net Core, ASP.Net MVC, Angular 6 and similar
• Be experienced in object-oriented programming
• Have an advanced understanding of the Microsoft Ecosystem (Microsoft Azure, SQL, etc.)
• Be interested in blockchain, DLT and cryptocurrencies
• Be a team player who challenges and supports others
• Show a willingness to learn and grow
• Professional working proficiency in English, German a plus

The minimum wage for this position according to the IT collective labor agreement 2020 (IT KV 2020) is 2,461 € (Junior) or 3,371 € (Senior) (14x gross/year), with willingness to overpay depending on qualification and experience.
