Security Test Engineer Full Time (Remote)

We are looking for a Security Test Engineer to join our team in Aarhus. Ideally, the candidate is located in Denmark, but other European locations are also an option (CET +/- 1 time zone).

Concordium has developed and launched a blockchain technology made for the future economy, in which qualities such as compliance, cost efficiency, transparency, accountability and concern for the environment are in focus. As an integral part of the blockchain project, Concordium has developed and launched its own crypto currency, the CCD, which is listed on several crypto exchanges.

Concordium is deeply rooted in science, and the Tech team works closely with the blockchain research group COBRA at Aarhus University and ETH Zurich. It is the first blockchain with identification built into the protocol to meet regulatory requirements with the ability to build fully decentralized applications for the web using Rust-based smart contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security assessments on the Concordium blockchain and smart contract libraries.
• Plan, perform, and document security tests such as vulnerability scannings, security scannings, penetration testing, ethical hacking etc.
• Write and maintain automatic security test tools.
• Plan, perform, and document static and dynamic code testing and manual code inspection.
• Analyze vulnerabilities and attacks on other blockchains.
• Record and prioritize security findings.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in IT, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity or similar.
• 3+ years of work experience in a similar role.
• Deep knowledge of the blockchain space and its vulnerabilities, including smart contract development.
• Experience in scripting automatic test tools.
• Experience with security test methods and result analysis.
• Familiarity with security fundamentals and applied cryptography.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, OSCP, CBSP or similar) are a strong advantage.
