IT & Security Engineer Full Time (Remote)

We are looking for a Regulatory SME that acts as gatekeeper to oversee portfolio of enforcement investigations on an enterprise basis. Serves as primary contact for collection, and review of company responses to enforcement actions at state and federal level. Acts as SME for product and topic knowledge across Operations and the Business Lines by staying current and providing interpretive guidance on new and evolving reporting rules, setting related policy and reinforcing controls with report owners. Serves as the primary point of contact for all questions and issues related to application and interpretation of regulatory rules in the digital asset, blockchain and related financial services space. Also responsible for developing best practices through engaging in a collaborative approach, which builds trust and buy in with key stakeholders. Provides advisory support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues with hardware and software.
• Resolve help desk tickets for internal employees via phone, in person, or electronically.
• Resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available resources within the company.
• Handle office support and requirements for onsite employees.
• Perform hardware and software installations, configurations and updates as needed.
• Handle onboarding and off-boarding of employees.
• Provide introductory on-line & classroom training for company products.
• Log bugs and enhancement requests for our IT and security systems.
• Monitor and alert of Security and IT issues that arise.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent working experience.
• Knowledge and previous experience in the field of crypto
• At least 3 years experience in the IT field preferably providing customer support.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows 10, Mac OS X, Office 365 administration, G Suite management, Okta management, Jira administration, User rights management for Cloud services.
• Extensive experience with Security tools: Endpoint security and management tools, Firewalls, VPN’s and Password managers.
• Experience with Crowdstrike, ManageEngine, Zendesk, AWS Workspaces, OpenVPN and Database client connectivity is an advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of client computer hardware systems.
• Knowledge of LAN and wireless networks.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage projects and tasks in an organized fashion.
