Sr. Product Manager Full Time (Remote)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be charged with leading Blockchains’ BaaS (Banking as a Service) payments initiative. You will work with other Product Managers and other key stakeholders of the program to drive success and remove roadblocks for the team. You will work closely with development and other team members to understand and communicate requirements and ensure timely delivery of API products.

Your primary focus will be to ensure the delivery of our suite of payments-based API products in banking domain. As a part of BaaS (banking as a service) team you will have end-to-end ownership of the payments product. We are looking for someone with background in traditional payment rails such as ACH, wire, and Swift networks working for bank or fintech to deliver API driven products.  Other responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with banking, wallet, and identity partners, customers, and other stakeholders to understand and prioritize needs and expectations to ensure a timely delivery of product.
• Working closely with Engineering and Project Management teams to groom backlogs and prioritize development work on an ongoing basis.
• Identifying key deliverables, milestones and KPIs to measure and report on progress of BaaS product.
• Incorporate qualitative feedback from user research and support tickets and other data.
• Tracking developments and trends in the digital identity and blockchain ecosystems.
• Updating and publishing progress reports, roadmaps, business reviews, KPIs, and other required or important information.
• Serving as a product evangelist both internally and externally with customers, press and analysts, and other channels in cooperation with the Brand team.
• Understand the payment platform end to end, the APIs in our systems and the dependencies, and use this knowledge to create and improve our payment systems

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

To ensure success, you must tie what we are doing directly to why it matters. You possess strong initiative, communication, and leadership skills while having in-depth knowledge and understanding of the business and product development of software solutions. You have a proven ability to drive large-scale products with multitude of stakeholder with a deep understanding of the agile methodology. Experience working in regulated industries is highly desirable, and especially a proven ability to collaborate closely with legal, compliance, UI/UX, and customer support teams. Passionate about learning new technology and always interested in solving problems with innovative approach. Passion and demonstrable knowledge in web3 and crypto. Ideally use dApps (ex. DeFi, NFT marketplaces) on a semi-regular basis. Knowledge in SSI technology a plus.

YOUR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

This position requires a BS/BA in business, computer science, engineering, or a related major; a graduate degree in one of these fields is a plus. A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in managing software programs and projects or working as a software development consultant. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in building and delivering API products in payments and financial technology domain and ideally blockchain products as well. You should have experience in building and launching products from scratch.
