Senior Linux / Blockchain Engineer Full Time (Hybrid)

Your role

As part of the IT team, you are responsible for the cloud-based infrastructure on which the trading, custody support, and many other services operate to facilitate Bitcoin Suisse clients to trade, invest and securely store assets.

You will have the following responsibilities

• Design, implement and extend the virtual server infrastructure in Azure and other clouds
• Define, evaluate and implement new solutions
• Oversee operation and maintenance of Linux servers running blockchain nodes
• Advise business in making strategic decisions
• Help define system roadmaps, identify solutions for strategic business goals

What you bring along

• Master/Bachelor’s degree in information technology, apprenticeship or equivalent education
• Linux servers, Windows servers as a big plus
• Docker, Kubernetes, Hypervisors
• Infrastructure as a Code (Terraform, Pulumi), GitHub, Azure DevOps
• Routing and Network protocols (TCP/IP, SMTP, DNS, HTTP), VPN (SSL VPN, IPSEC)
• Firewalls, log-management (Graylog), and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, OpsGenie)
• Network and System related secure implementations and best practices.
• Patch management, automation, and scripting (Python/PowerShell/bash/Ansible)
• Flexibility to support the remote teams for on-call duty, able to work with different international stake holders
• Committed problem solver with a positive personality and can-do mentality, who is comfortable to drive and manage changes
• Fluent English in writing and speaking
