Principal Software Engineer- Engineering Productivity Full Time (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Build automated measurements and dashboards to gain insights into Engineering Productivity to understand what is working and what is not
• Make suggestions for engineering workflow improvements, monitor the results and iterate
• Increase contributor and developer productivity by improving the development setup, workflow, processes, and tools
• Raise the engineering bar through practices such as code reviews, unit testing and integration tests
• Build automated tooling to speed up issue and merge request review and triage
• Ensure workflow and label hygiene in our system which feeds into our metrics dashboard
• Build automated tooling to ensure the consistency and quality of the codebase and merge request workflow
• Identify and focused on the organization-level engineering bottlenecks, and improve it by providing concrete solutions

Requirements:

• Proficient coding/architecture skill
• Full-stack engineer is preferred
• Good mindset of engineering best practices
• Excellent intuition on the bottleneck identification
• Strong sense of ownership and drive to change the world
• Passionate about high-quality software and developing tools that make the engineering process better
• Good knowledge with cloud and Kubernetes, Docker etc.
• Experience in the related area like engineering excellence or productivity or release management
• Good team player, efficient and convincing communication, well self-managed
• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in computer and related majors
